Arthur Court 1978 Aluminum Casting Hunting Rabbit Coat/Hat Hooks, Vintage Wall Decor, Functional Art

This is a wonderfully unusual piece. It is a heavy duty aluminum casting of a rabbit that is dressed in hunting attire complete with a double barrel shotgun. He has carnelian eyes that are a lovely deep orange/red. He looks quite serious and somewhat ominous. His legs come down and turn into 2 very pointy hooks. He is made to hang on the wall. There is a bracket for 2 screws making it very sturdy. A place to hang your coat, hat, bathrobe the options are endless. A functional piece of art. He was made by a company still in business, Arthur Court, in 1978.

Mr. Arthur Court founded the company in 1966 with a focus on interior design. Their breakthrough came in the 1970s when we became the first company in the U.S. to incorporate aluminum into tabletop collections. Since then, Arthur Court Designs has remained a leader in the aluminum tableware and home decor industry.
