Cobalt Blue Glass Ashtray Morris Sunco Advertisement, Tobacciana, Cincinnati, Ohio
$28.40
This ashtray is gorgeous cobalt blue. I tried to do some research on the business this is connected to. It is no longer there. The building I believe is still there and it was a service station/gas station in very early Cincinnati Ohio. Many very historic things happened right down the street. The Harriet Beecher Stowe House author of Uncle Tom's cabin, The women's sufferage movement. Lots of history in this area. I believe this ashtray was part of a promotion for Sunoco's custom Oil mixing pump that was called Blue Sunoco. One of the special pumps is in the Smithsonian.
This ashtray measures 5 inches across , round.
The condition of this ashtray is impeccable. It would be fair to say I highly doubt it was ever used. There are no chips or cracks. The yellow printing on the ashtray is in perfect shape no burns or no icky nicotine stains.
Thank you for taking the time to review this. If you have any queries or worries, please do not hesitate to contact me. I typically respond promptly.
