Heavy Black Knotted Stone Beads Vintage Necklace, Japan Necklace, Heavy

These are heavy 10mm beads. Black all the way through. They are slightly cool to the touch. They are knotted like pearls and have a gold tone fish hook pearls style clasp. I am guessing they might be obsidian maybe onyx. I have no way to tell for sure. The back of the clasp is stamped Japan.

The necklace measures 24 inches long and as I said the beads are 10mm (roughly 1/3 inch wide.
