Niloak is a popular American Art Pottery that was created in Benton (Saline County) from 1909 until 1946 by the Eagle Pottery Company. Niloak is best known in the pottery world for its unique Mission-swirl design, but the company in later years produced two other lines, Hywood Art Pottery and the Hywood by Niloak. The name “Niloak” is the word “kaolin” spelled backward. Kaolin is a type of fine-grade clay found near Benton and used in production.
It measures 6 inches tall, 5 inches wide and 4.25 inches deep.
Previously owned and in excellent vintage condition, no cracks or chips or signs of repair.
This item will be shipped with USPS Ground Advantage (the new First Class Mail) and comes with $100 of insurance. Because the box will weigh over 1 lb. Normally Etsy would force Priority Mail which cost considerably more. If you prefer Priority Mail Just pay for the upgrade and I am more than happy to oblige.
