These masks have a joyful demeanor. Excellent to add to your vintage Asian Home Decor. Both have a built in hole for easy hanging. They also have a sticker on the back that says "Solid Brass Made In India"
Who was Confucius?
Confucius, born Kong Qiu, was a Chinese philosopher of the Spring and Autumn period who is traditionally considered the paragon of Chinese sages, as well as the first teacher in China to advocate for mass education.
The larger mask measures roughly 6.5 inches long, 4.25 inches across and at its widest point 1 inch thick. The smaller measures 5 inches long, 3 inches wide and 1.25 inches deep.
Previously owned and in excellent vintage condition. Normal signs of wear in the way of surface scratches and some tarnish. The tarnish can easily polished leaving the brass looking golden. I will leave that to the buyers discretion.
