Sterling Silver, Marcasite and Amethyst Art Deco Hearts and Ribbons Brooch

This listing is for a vintage Art Deco inspired brooch made of sterling silver, marcasite, and amethyst. This brooch features a ribbon design with a heart-shaped amethyst stone at the center and is adorned with marcasite stones. It has a very nice sterling patina. The brooch design and materials are characteristic of the Art Deco era, which flourished in the 1920s and 1930s. Brooches from this period often incorporate geometric shapes, stylized motifs, and contrasting materials like marcasite and gemstones. The back is stamped 925.

It measures roughly 1.75 inches long and is an inch wide at the widest point.
