Vintage 1950's Carvanite Art Deco Green Celluloid Salt and Pepper Shakers, Collectible

These are light avocado green early plastic salt and pepper shakers. To fill them you lift the top up and to the side (stays connected) after full shift the lid back into place. To dispense the salt or pepper you push the center of the top down and it opens at the bottom, it is spring loaded. There is a raised S and P on the tops. The bottoms are stamped Carvanite Los Angeles USA.
Carvanite salt and pepper shakers, made from the material carvanite (a type of bakelite), gained popularity in the mid-20th century, becoming a common kitchen accessory and later a collectible item.
They measure roughly 2 inches tall and are 1.25 inches in diameter.
Previously owned and in good vintage condition. Signs of wear from normal use and age. Please examine all of the photos and decide for yourself.
